Waterproofing done right
Every shower we install includes a full waterproofing membrane (Schluter Kerdi or RedGard) behind the tile. This is non-negotiable in our builds — it is exactly what fails in cheap installs and leads to leaks, rot, and mold inside the wall. Done correctly, it is invisible and it is what makes a tile shower last for decades.
Permits and code
A like-for-like shower replacement usually does not require a permit, but any plumbing relocation or layout change does. We handle Redwood City and San Mateo County permits and inspections whenever they apply, and every job is completed by a CSLB-licensed, insured crew.
